6 essential Cocktails for your Easter Party

 

The spring weather that fills the city with beautiful colors brings a festive mood to life. Easter eggs in vibrant colors will fill you with joy. There is so much to think about to get the party started like Invitation Gifts, food and drinks menu, decorations etc. This year try these simple drink recipes that will make an amazing drink to serve at your party without taking much of your time.

 

  1. Rose Bluebonnets cocktail: This is a peculiar combination of mixing the strong flavor of bourbon with a sweet hint of rose that makes it amazing. A whiskey cocktail as this is a true beauty that makes it the right combination of boozy and refreshingly sweet. The floral syrup flavor makes it ideal to enjoy the Easter spirit with a simple recipe.

What you need:

1.3 tablespoons of grapefruit juice

2.1 ounces of rose wine

3.2 ounces of scotch whiskey [ like Dalmore]

4.Sparkling water or soda

5.1 teaspoon of rose syrup

6.½ tablespoon of lemon juice

7.Grapefruit slices for garnishing

 

How to prepare:

  1. In a mason jar or bowl mix all the ingredients together along with ice cubes.
  2. Top the drink with sparkling water or soda and garnish with the fruit slices.

 

2.Lavender and Bruleed Grapefruit Greyhound: This should be the first choice of drink for any adult only brunch or Easter dinner. The cocktail is an elegant choice of drink. It has a fresh flavor of lavender along with a citrusy touch that makes it a worthy drink to cherish.

What you need:

1.5 dried culinary lavender leaves

2.2 ounces of vodka

3.Cheesecloth

4.1 cup of sugar

5.Grapefruit slices

6.5 ounces of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice

 

How to prepare:

  1. Start by preparing the lavender infused vodka which will be the base for this drink. In a mason jar add the lavender and vodka together.
  2. Cover this and let it sit for at least 5 hours.

3.Strain using a mesh sieve with cheesecloth and use this to prepare your cocktail.

  1. Prepare the caramelized grapefruit by sprinkling the slices with sugar and place them in a broiler. Broil till sugar bubbles and edges blacken and remove from the oven.
  2. In a cocktail glass add 2 ounces of the infused vodka, ice cubes, fresh grapefruit juice and garnish with lavender and caramelized grapefruit slices and serve.

3.16 ounces of chilled water

4.Peychaud’s Bitters

5.1 liter of Patron silver
