In 1994, Stockton Graham & Co. first opened its doors as Classic Coffees, a small espresso and coffee shop in Raleigh, North Carolina. Two years later, Classic Coffees expanded with a 12 kg coffee roaster, a 2000 sq ft. facility and a growing demand for craft roasted specialty beverages.
20 years later, the name has changed but the quality of their hand-crafted coffees has not. Stockton Graham has grown into a full service coffee business, or rather, full service in the business of coffee. From artisan roasted blends, specialty products, coffee equipment and supplies, there is nothing that Stockton Graham doesn’t excel in, when it comes to coffee.

What Is Craft Roasting?
Craft coffee begins with the sourcing of quality beans. The Stockton Graham team visits their coffee suppliers, becoming familiar with the soil, harvest cycles and processes that will influence the quality of each cup of coffee they produce.
Craft roasting is a combination of both art and science. A coffee’s “roast profile” must be carefully discovered to ensure consistency of flavor, fragrance, and build of each batch. Combine this consistency with the science of the roasting cycle and the result is a quality and consistency that is craft coffee.

Stockton Graham & Co. is looking for a specialty coffee enthusiast with 2+ years of industry experience who is interested in long-term career growth. The ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly in-person & phone, is a career-driven, self-motivated professional able to confidently work without direct supervision. This position involves consulting and training on a wide variety of topics related to coffee, espresso, specialty beverages, and food service.
Coffee Job Listing At A Glance: (Duties include but are not limited too)
- 2+ years experience in the industry or sales experience
- entering customer orders received by phone or computer
- building relationships with customers
- understanding product strengths, weaknesses and basic preparation
- consult with sales associates and key accounts to develop a personal relationship as a trusted advisor
- coordinate and attend internal events, industry events, and on-site events with our customers, including training and promotional contacts
- passion for specialty coffee, espresso, and cafe’ culture
- excellent interpersonal skills
- college experience, B.A. or equivalent experience
