The Brewers Association released findings on the growth of Craft Beer in the year 2013 and illustrated those findings in an engaging infographic, reprinted below.
Noteworthy is that since 2007, the number of craft breweries in the US has more than doubled. The total number of breweries in the US is now at 2822 with all but 54 of those being craft breweries.
In 2013, approximately 110,273 people were employed by small brewing companies – a 1.7% increase since 2012. Roughly 2000 jobs were added last year alone!!
