On March 11-12, 2015 Craft Beverage Media (that’s us) will be holding a 2-day workshop geared for those that work (or want to work) in craft beverage and who are in need of some serious Social Media and Direct-to-Consumer sales training.
To balance out all the hard work we’ll be doing in the workshop, we decided to hold this event not just in beautiful Hawai’i, but also hold the training in conjunction with the Kona Brewers Festival – a craft beer event that we have been to and we believe is THE BEST craft beer event in the country.
At Craft Beverage Media, education is one of our foundations. We agree with many of you that Social Media is best executed in-house by those in the business that are a part of its culture and daily practices. The people on the front lines – those face-to-face with the customers and representing the brand – are often he best ones to engage online.
Therefore, one of our primary goals is to share what we learn and share what we’ve experienced to work marketing craft beverage using this medium. We want to give you all the tools and understanding we have to be able to market and sell your product successfully and efficiently using Social Media.
We also have an extensive experience developing, implementing, and growing Direct-to-Consumer channels for craft beverage brands. From designing a tasting room that ignites spending to designing a loyalty program that uniquely fits a brand’s culture, its customers, and works within the law, we provide a unique and refreshing approach to understanding your customer and knowing how to increase direct sales.
Leading the Direct-to-Consumer portion of the workshop will be WISE Academy – a leading sales educator for the wine industry. If you are familiar with our blog here on Craft Beverage Jobs, these are the great folks behind our weekly #WISEwednesday series. This is a unique opportunity for other segments of the beverage industry (craft beer, coffee, spirits, etc) to learn from WISE and improve their own DTC efforts.
This retreat-like workshop will take place at the King Kamehameha Beach Hotel in Kailua-Kona where we’ll spend the better portion of two days diving deep into Social Media and DTC sales training. We will meet from 11am – 4pm allowing you the mornings and late afternoon to enjoy island activities. Lunches in the program are included as are dinners both on the 11th and 12th.
Included with each workshop registration is also a ticket to the 20th annual Kona Brewers Festival – set for Saturday, March 14, 2015.
