Experience
I worked side-by-side with our Head Brewer to complete each day's brew. Together he and I would mash in, vorlauf, grain-out, boil, knock-out, pitch, clean, and prep for the following day's brew. During weeks that we needed to up production he would take the first shift brew and I would take the second shift.
My main responsibilities were cleaning, consistency and reporting. I made sure our brews fell within the Brew Master's set ranges for pH, specific gravity, temperature and the like. All of this information and much more was recorded manually entered into a spreadsheet with our other brewlogs.
