I have been employed in customer service roles since I was fourteen (14) years old in a wide variety of businesses. I have worked as a head teller and floating teller for banks in Northwest Arkansas. I moved from banking to the restaurant industry of a locally owned business; beginning employment as a server and now holding the position of General Manager. My experience in these businesses has helped me understand how to better serve customers, and it has provided education in sales.
Education
Attended NWACC off and on after graduating High School. Have not yet completed. Fell in love with the restaurant industry and took time off again.
Experience
In charge of hiring, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. As well as communicating job expectations, and evaluating employees based on those expectations and their performance. In charge of payroll as well as other administrative duties. Monitor food costs by overseeing portion control as well as minimizing waste as a whole. Keeping alcohol costs down by maintaining correct portions as well as ensuring drinks are priced as they should be. Ensure that the restaurant is stocked fully in both the bar and kitchen at all times to prevent running out of products. And most importantly making sure that customers are always taken care of and always happy with their experience when visiting the restaurant. I manage over 50 employees.
